Organizations start petition drives. Organizations with initiatives you support are potential allies and partners. Support by signing, showing up, calling, writing as requested by that organization.
Consider forming a group at your congregation to support the effort or join the group and encourage other friends to join you.
With the changes happening on the national level, state and local level, these initiatives may seem quixotic, but the conversations you have with people about a petition, an action, a proposed change is a great way to start a conversation.
